Aprojects Handle Turnkey Project for Belgian Power Plant
Aprojects are pleased to share their successful completion of a turnkey project for a new combined cycle power plant in Belgium.
The company utilised three charter vessels from China and Vietnam to Belgium for a total 30,000 freight tons of cargo.
This shipment featured individual units over 325 tons, some measuring 30 meters long, 5 meters wide and a variety of heights.
Upon arrival in the Port of Antwerp, Aprojects executed port operations at their own terminal and warehouse.
Onward delivery was conducted by barges & trucks to their client’s site, with various cranes & SPMT trailers used for off-loading at the site up to the laydown area.
Aprojects faced multiple obstacles such as short deadlines, authorities coming up with special requests, limited time windows for transport, and more.
“It took us blood, sweat and tears, but our months of preparations & follow-up made it a success story.”
