C.H. Robinson Project Logistics are PCN members in Canada and are pleased to announce that Bruce Jantzie has been named Vice President of Global Forwarding Project Logistics at the company. Bruce (photographed above) first joined C.H. Robinson in 2008 and brings 27 years of industry experience to the position. In his new role, he will lead the day-to-day operations of project logistics and will report to the President of Global Forwarding, Mike Short.

The Project Logistics division of C.H. Robinson oversees the global transport of heavy lift shipments for a variety of industries including oil and gas, mining, and wind power. In a world where no two shipments are the same, C.H. Robinson Project Logistics works with its customers to create customised logistics plans for unique project needs from a comprehensive, pre-shipment evaluation of potential risks and deficiencies, as well as route and port surveys, required documentation handling, and shipping options analysis.
Bruce Jantzie came to C.H. Robinson through the 2008 acquisition of Transera International Logistics, where he covered a wide variety of roles and ultimately joining the executive leadership team. Prior to joining Transera, he began his career in marketing and sales at CP Rail, working with numerous commodity groups including machinery, over-dimensional rail, and intermodal.
