Coordinadora Internacional de Cargas (PCN member in Spain) has recently successfully performed a notable heavy cargo shipment for the Jizan Economic City Refinery and Terminal Project in Saudi Arabia.
The 4 heaviest pieces of the shipment, which took place at the end of 2015, were reactors weighing 2 x 834mt and 2 x 925mt. This was the first shipment using the brand new jetty at the new Jizan Economic City in Saudi Arabia.
Pablo Higueras (CEO) explains; “This shipment included the ocean and inland transportation of the cargo and involved a delicate loading operation of the 4 reactors from a barge alongside the vessel. During the pre-project planning and the transportation execution, Coordinadora’s heavy lift & engineering department was once again a key component to ensure the operation was handled in keeping with the high standards of safety and performance required for such a critical project.”
Coordinadora is proud to show the continuous track record of our reputation as one of the most reliable worldwide heavy transport partners.
