Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) are pleased to report the successful completion of the 2nd shipment of heavy and OOG dismantled cranes (pictured above during trucking at night) with a width of 5.6m from the Chinese port of Xiamen to Bahrain. The first part took place at the end of December (read details) consisting of approximately 1,800frt and this second part of 600frt has now been moved.
Both shipments were organised in part-charter vessels arranged by AGL. The Chinese supervision, handling and pre-carriage was completed in close cooperation with PCN member in China, Columbia Pro-Rail Transport Services. Yet another great example of PCN partners working together!
AGL was the forwarding contact for all the work in China as well as the seafreight (chartering), documentation, customs clearance at both ends, and the supervision in Bahrain performed by their own skilled marine surveyors.
