Nonpareil International Transport Mining Equipment to Dubai
Nonpareil International, our members in the Philippines, are pleased to report their recent project shipment of over 50 dump trucks from the Port of Cebu to Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The company’s export division handled the documentation, customs clearance and loading of 51 dump trucks, both operational and non-operational. The trucks weighed a total 3008 tons and featured a volume of 10939 cbm.
A variety of obstacles were overcome in the securing of this OOG cargo. Surveys were carried out at the mining sites to best decide how to move the trucks, and a transport methodology was prepared by Nonpareil and submitted to their consignee.
The budget requirements of their client created difficulties in acquiring chartered vessels for the shipment, and a strict rate negotiation based on the client’s allotted financial plan was required.
A private jetty port was utilised as a staging area and for loading, but there were a handful of stoppages due to rough seas, heavy rain and an unstable vessel position due to strong wind.
