Pinto Basto Handle Transport of Six Transformers
Pinto Basto recently handled an interesting project transport of six transformers and accessories from China to Norway.
They were responsible for the maritime freight, discharge operations, trucking transportation and offloading of the transformers and accessories at the construction site. Each of the six transformers weighs 55tns.
“It was a complex operation due to the size, tonnage and quantity but our planning resulted in a successful operation. The transformers are destined for an under construction power substation in Norway, which will be used to support a new data center for one of the most used social networks at the moment.”
