In addition to all freight forwarding and transport activities (sea, air, truck, river, customs), the group has been dedicated to project shipments since the very beginning. The region has experienced infrastructure projects, the boom of the mining industry and the energy sector in the last 15 years, as well as a large number of investments from Europe, Asia and the USA.”

“Due to the geographical location of the region from the logistics point of view, all directions of the organisation of transport across the Adriatic, Black and Aegean Seas, and the ports located in these seas, are used. Many of the markets of the region are also connected by the Danube River to the Black Sea as well as via by the Danube to the river systems in Central and Northern Europe and their ports. This river connection makes it possible to transport oversized shipments that cannot be transported by road or rail.

Agent Plus Group owns a fleet of over 35,000 tons of river ships and barges and has experience in transporting a variety of different OOG cargo, offering door-to-door services and complete project management.”

The last two projects handled by Agent Plus are detailed below.

  • The transport of 1,500m3 of cargo including two sets of transformers (each 115mt) and their related equipment. The cargo was shipped from China to the Black Sea (Constanta) and was then loaded on barges on the Danube River to the Serbian river port of Smederevo before local trucking to the final destination.
  • The transport of 8,500m3 of equipment for an infrastructure project (tunnels, roads & bridges) including 90 special deliveries by trucks. The cargo arrived from Costa Rica to Adriatic Ports with the final destination in Novi Sad, Serbia.
