Polaris Trusted with Further Construction Equipment Shipments
Polaris Shipping Agencies have great experience in handling shipments of construction equipment and this has been awarded with further repeat orders for time-bound deliveries. This time, the shipments consisted of excavators, telescopic forklifts, bulldozers, truck-mounted cranes and more from the UAE to Europe and also from China to the UAE.
Both shipments, totalling around 4,200ft and with individual unit weights of 72mt, were awarded to Polaris with strict delivery deadlines which was successfully executed on time as agreed. The scope of work handled by Polaris included pre-carriage from the suppliers, completing all related customs requirements, third-party independent surveys, liaising and coordinating for all related documentations, handling at loading as well as discharge ports, sourcing of suitable vessel and terms etc. Rajesh continues; “Since Polaris represents several European heavy lift carriers including BBC Chartering as their port agents in the Middle East, it gives Polaris better possibilities to source suitable charter tonnage if required in addition to liner possibilities with whom we also have excellent relations”.
